We are proud to live in this wonderful state, and want to help our community wherever possible. Here are some of the things we’ve done to give back.
2024 $10,000 Free Fence Giveaway
In 2024 we hosted a giveaway program to help a family with children who have special needs. We received over 200 nominations over the month of May, and on May 25th we announced that the Wood Family had won the giveaway.
The Wood family is led by Thomas, who is currently on active duty in the Air Force, and Emilee, who recently left the Air Force to care for their children. They are blessed with four beautiful children, the oldest of whom are wonderful twin sisters. Unfortunately, one of the sisters has cerebral palsy, while both of them suffer from epilepsy. Given that their yard is bordered by streets on either side, they are in desperate need of a fence, which we will provide! Please stay tuned for updates on the installation itself, scheduled for late June.
2023 Palmer Family Park Project
In 2023 we donated over $5,000 in labor and material to the Palmer Family Park project. We built the entire perimeter fence, and assisted in the design of the enclosure to protect children for decades to come.
Today the park serves as one of the only handicap and special-needs accessible parks in Alaska.
2024 Palmer High School Girls Flag Football
In 2024 we became Gold level sponsors of the inaugural Girls Flag Football program out of Palmer High School. Over 80 girls are expected to attend the camp and get to participate in a new activity for the first time in our area.
